Melissa Morgan Fine Art began in 2002 as a collaboration between Melissa Morgan and Buschlen Mowatt Gallery Director, Alec Longmuir. In the gallery’s conception, the primary focus was to bridge Buschlen Mowatt Gallery’s blue-chip contemporary program with Melissa Morgan’s interest in important, mid-career artists with a strong focus on Southern California. The gallery currently represents 30 international contemporary artists working in all forms of media. Today, the gallery features installations with rising contemporary stars by juxtaposing their work with established blue-chip artists. Annually, the gallery presents three to four curated exhibitions at its Palm Desert gallery, as well as site-specific installations in varying locations. Through 2019-2020 the gallery will participate in 10 international art fairs.
